The CHAMBERS DELIMBINATOR® revolutionizes the way loggers remove limbs and bark from trees. This patented design is primarily for the first time thinning of plantation pine. The self-contained, pull-behind unit is easily transported to each new job site. Two 88" drums enable the flail system to handle from one to ten stems at a time, depending on their size.

Some similar machines are on the market, but none have the specially patented open front feeding design. The design allows the trees to be delimbed and loaded onto a trailer with only one knuckleboom loader. Its simplicity of design eliminates many expensive wear components currently required on most flail delimbers.  No hydraulics, no gearboxes.

The process is amazingly simple and simply amazing. The knuckleboom operator guides the stems through the machine by loading from the front. Inside, flail drums turn counterclockwise, drawing the stems through heavy chains that remove the limbs and most of the bark. The debris is deposited to the side of the machine for the skidder operator to grapple and disperse as he returns for another load. The trees can then be loaded on the truck with little or no trimming necessary.  As the DeLimbinator is a self contained machine, there is no more hydraulic demand placed upon the loader than what is required to pick wood up from a pile and load onto a truck.  No pushing, no pulling, just a smooth swinging motion for single-pass processing of your pine pulpwood.

Some of the benefits our customers enjoy from using their Chambers DeLimbinators:

·        Less wear on skidders and loaders than with other delimbing methods.

·        Ability to process more stems at one time than most other delimbing alternatives.

·        Skidders can bring a full load of trees to the loader when not using delimbing gates.

·        Less time spent trimming trucks, get it loaded and get it gone.

·        Good fuel economy, fuel usage averages 25 to 40 gallons per day.

·        Consistent performance in the stands of younger and rougher trees.

·        Simple design, simple to maintain.  Six grease alamites on the machine in all.

·        Single-pass processing of pulpwood stems, no pushing and pulling.

·        The unique belt-drive system, no gearboxes and no hydraulics.

·        Easy access to all components for maintenance and cleaning.

·        The DeLimbinator works with any size loader, smaller loaders realize a greater reduction in wear.

·        Less operator fatigue at the end of each day.

Current users of the Chambers DeLimbinator® are reporting superior results and remarkably increased daily production. Considering the low initial investment, low maintenance cost, and increased production, the machine can easily pay for itself in the first year of operation.

The Chambers DeLimbinator® is an extremely durable machine built to withstand the demands of today’s high production timber harvesting environment.  With five minutes of basic daily maintenance, some of our customers have exceeded 13,000 hours service from their DeLimbinators.  The DeLimbinator® has been tested and proven effective in delimbing Loblolly, Shortleaf, Longleaf, Slash, Virginia Pine and Sand Pine.  Typically, the DeLimbinator® increases pine pulpwood production from 30 to 60% above that achieved with alternate delimbing methods.

The Chambers DeLimbinator® is a revolutionary machine that has made radical changes in the way young plantation trees are harvested. Getting the cut stems ready for loading has never been easier, quicker, or more economical! You owe it to yourself to see the Chambers DeLimbinator® in action.

What do our customers have to say about the production of their Chambers DeLimbinator?

  • “The DeLimbinator is the most trouble free piece of woods equipment I’ve owned in over 20 years in the logging business.  Chambers does not promise anything they can’t deliver.  The machine is everything I was told to expect and more.  It’s the best thing on the market for delimbing pine pulpwood.”

    - Steve Weaver, TWT, Inc. Lilesville, NC

  • “I would be at the house without my two DeLimbinators.  We consistently produce 1600 – 2000 tons of wood per machine each week in Florida Sand Pine.”

    - Richard Brown, R.G. Brown Trucking and Logging,
    Hossford, FL

  • “I own two Chambers DeLimbinators and won’t go to the woods to thin pine plantations without them.  A DeLimbinator yields an additional 3 – 5 loads per day above any other kind of delimber I’ve tried.  As long as I’m in the logging business, I’ll have a Chambers DeLimbinator on my job.”

    - Johnny Black, Johnny Black Logging, Ackerman,
    Mississippi

  • “If a man is going to thin pine plantation, delimbing with a Chambers DeLimbinator is the only way to go.  It’s the best machine on the market for production in these pine plantations, bottom line.”

    - Sid Massey, SME, Inc., Noxapater, Mississippi

  • “Our DeLimbinators are essential to the small-wood thinnings we do.  There is no way we could work in the 10 – 12 year old plantations that we are thinning without them.”

-Robert Bennett, Bennett Timber Company  Owner of 13 Chambers DeLimbinators
